Description

Added by The Outbound Collective

Just outside the city of Columbia, Sesqui Park features a lake, waterfall, and 6 miles of trail.

The wheelchair accessible, paved Sandhills Hiking Trail leaves from the parking area by the boathouse. You will circle around the lake, with opportunities for birding and spotting wildflowers. It will also take you past the waterfall on Jackson Creek.

A more remote hiking option is the Loop Road Trail (3.5 miles). The park's Sesqui Trail (6.1 miles) is also popular for mountain biking. Consult a trail map here.
