Even though it is a car tour give yourself all day to do it. You will want to get out often soak it all in.

The Avenue of the Giants is a must for any forest enthusiast! I recommend stopping at Founders Grove for a nice easy mile hike that takes you on a mini educational tour through the most amazing grove of redwoods in the world! After your hike head back south on the Avenue to Miranda and enjoy some great pizza and snacks at the Miranda Cafe.
