The Simple Beauty of a Night Spent in the Tennessee Mountains

This trip reminded me of how great a night of hanging out by a fire with great friends can be.

Last weekend I tagged along with one of my buddies to a little trip to Indian Boundary Lake by the Tellico Planes in the Cherokee National Forrest. It was a casual small group of friends and we just dropped it all and went to the mountains for a night. It was so good to be with people I didn't really know, but just bond through the beauty of the sweet Tennessee mountains. This place had a cool peninsula that we set up a fire on and gathered around. There was plenty to do like throw frisbee, play spike ball, and even jump in the lake. The simplicity of this trip really brought light on how good it is to just drop all the business of life and hand it to the mountains for a day. While we were all gathered by the fire I decided to take some pictures to freeze the moment.
