Description

Added by Jameson Jones

Dry Creek Falls via PCT is a quick hike to this scenic waterfall with minimal crowds and easy parking. As an added bonus, there's great food right across the street from the trailhead.

This is a 4.4 mile out and back hike with only 710 feet in elevation gain. From the parking area at the Bridge of The Gods Trailhead, make your way across the road to the Pacific Crest Trail, which runs parallel with I-84. Shortly you'll run into a street that goes under I-84. Make your way up the the road and straight up the gravel road that's slightly to the right. Continue going straight until you reach the twin trailheads. You'll see a sign that will direct you onto the Pacific Crest Trail. Follow the Pacific Crest Trail and about 1 mile in you'll come across a power line access road and this is where you will take a slight right and back into the forrest where the trail resumes. Once you hike to the creek you'll find yourself at an intersection with a dirt backroad and a bridge that continues the Pacific Crest Trail. Here is where you will turn right and follow the dirt road for about 1/4 of a mile to Dry Creek Falls.

If you wish to do this hike in the winter the Bridge of Gods trailhead is closed but you can start the hike from Moody street instead.

After you've made your way back to the Bridge of Gods Trailhead, you can stop by Char Burger across the street for some delicious burgers and beers.
