Thinking about Umpqua Hot Springs? Take a short 0.5-mile hike to this hillside hot spring. Before or after your soak, hit the trail to nearby Toketee Falls.
When you arrive at the hot springs you'll see a bathroom and large dumpster in a small gravel parking lot. From the parking lot you'll see a bridge which leads to the trail up to the springs. Its a 0.25 mile walk up to seven different pools, sitting 150ft. above the North Umpqua River. All the hot springs set the perfect soaking vibe with a variety of sizes, temperatures and an excellent view. If you really want the full experience, stay until the stars come out.
Would you like some cold, fresh natural drinking water to cool off with during your soak? Then take a quick walk up river to this hidden mountain stream. Before you cross the bridge in the parking lot, find the trail that follows up along the river. After about .4 miles the trail will walk over a heavy flowing stream, this is the one. Make your way down and give it a try. Some avid local soakers said its one of the freshest natural drinking spring in the country and I believe them!
