Catch The Sunset Or Stargaze At Baskett Slough

Once reaching the parking lot, you will head up the gravel path towards the top. Notice the "No Jogging" signs placed at the beginning of the trail, these are to prevent the wildlife from being disturbed due to it being a National Wildlife Refuge.

 You will reach two forks in the road at 1/4 mile into your hike and 1/3 of a mile. Take a left on both. 

Once reaching the lookout/viewpoint, you will see stunning 360' views of the Willamette Valley in all of its beauty. Make sure to stay on the paths because of the poison oak that tends to reside in the area. 

Birders and other wildlife lovers often bring their cameras and binoculars to watch the vast array of animals that live on the refuge.
