An incredible hidden gem of a waterfall! Stunning geography, easy to spend a long or short time at. Convenient and unique!
This is a beautiful hidden waterfall framed by Oregon's stunning rock formations. Surrounded by fields of cows and farmland, a gravel road takes you down to a picnic area, a perfect spot for lunch. A paved lookout provides an initial view of the falls from up above, and a pathway takes you to another grassy lookout, from which you have another beautiful view of the falls, as well as an abandoned water-pump house, adding to the beauty and mystery of the area. However, note that the pump house is a restricted and dangerous area if you consider exploring the inside! Continuing on the trail just a little ways leads to a second smaller, yet equally as impressive waterfall. This one you can get much closer to, and is incredibly photogenic. You can continue along the path, but note that after a couple more nice views of the river, the trail cuts off shortly after the second waterfall. Overall a wonderful place to go!
