Although it doesn’t look like it here in Vancouver, Today is the first day of spring, which means summer is only a few short months away! So I was inspired to share another amazing lake with you that I explored last summer with a very rad friend of mine. I am sure you have heard of Crater Lake in Oregon. The deepest lake in North America, named #1 most beautiful crater lake in the WORLD. I don’t have to waste your time by describing how amazing, and beautiful this lake is, because you should go and look for yourself. It took us a day to get there; we camped overnight at the lake, and spend a total of 1.5 days on the lake exploring, swimming and drinking beers. A day or two is more than enough; we managed to see some of the hidden gems including a waterfall, few cool spots birds-eye views of the entire lake, and drove the loop around the lake. We met some pretty cool people, cliff-jumped into the lake, and swam in the clearest blue water I could’ve ever imagined. But be prepared to go into shock the first few seconds after jumping in, the water is pretty damn cold. I am not going to go on & on about this. It’s an easy short trip to see one of the best places this planet has to offer so this summer if you want something to do, this is it.
