Ledges Loop Trail is a great hike in Cuyahoga National Park that showcases a mystical forest, small creeks, impressive rock ledges and sweeping views of the Cuyahoga Valley.
The 2.2 mile roundtrip trail is among the most popular hikes in the National Park since the loop passes the "Ledge Overlook", a rock outcropping that offers an unobstructed view across the Cuyahoga Valley facing west. There is a small shelter in the parking lot that offers picnic tables, a large grassy field and restroom facilities. This loop trail can easily be connected to other local trails to create a half-day or full-day trip. The elevation is relatively flat so the hike is also great for kids or even older adults. The Ledge Overlook is also a great place for sunset photos.
