Elk River Falls is a beautiful 60 ft water fall in Elk Park, North Carolina. The water fall also serves as a refreshing swimming hole. It is a large swimming area that can accommodate large amounts of people. There are also lot of big rocks to sit on and enjoy the view. It's very popular during the summer, but the large open space makes it a great place to go with family and friends!

The parking lot is located at the end of Elk River Road right off of 19E. Once in the parking lot, it is a very short hike aided by stairs to the waterfall. You start above the water fall and then hike down to the falls where there is a large open area for chilling, swimming, and simply taking in the view.
