Beautiful viewsEasy-Moderate HikeWide Path

The trail head is across the street from the parking lot and leads you along the edge of the gorge. The hike is around 3 miles round trip if you follow the trail all the way up to the top.

There are scenic viewing platforms along the trail that you can stop and photograph from. There are side trails also along the way that you can venture off on, one being an old mining route in which you can see the entrances for the mines.

It is not safe to swim in the water as the currents are extremely strong but you can take a jet boat ride on the water as there is a service that offers such. You can sign up for this adventure right there at the parking lot.
