Easily accessible from Albany or New York City, Catskill State Park makes for a great day trip. The Indian Head Mountain Loop is particularly stunning, with features such as a waterfall and incredible views. 

This trail is typically used for hikers, dog walkers, and snowshoers in the winter. Camping is available nearby.
