Fly Fish Bennett Spring State Park
Bennett Spring is the flagship of the Missouri Trout Parks. It draws the largest crowds, by far, and it boasts the largest spring of the four parks. It has a very nice restaurant, a nature center, a swimming pool, and tons of lodging and camping spaces. Once the park fills up, the rest of the visitors simply spill into the lodges and campgrounds that surround the park. The park boasts a nice ta...
Ride the Slopestyle Course at Two Rivers
Located just about 20 minutes outside of Springfield, Missouri these are the best slopestyle courses you will find in Missouri.
These courses start at the top of a service road that leads out of the parking lot. There are tons of great features such as wall rides, berms, and tabletops.
There are also cross country trails at this park so there is something for everyone.

Jolly Mill
This park is really neat, its not very big but for the area there is lots to do. You can check out the mill that does still work. The owner of the mill is very friendly and he said that they still grind some of his crops, and that they hold events to watch the process of how they do it. To see when they are holding these events you could call this number: (417) 476-5809.
For photography, there...
Hike the Boulder Ridge Trail
The trail is a gravel surface that makes a loop around the long narrow ridge top southwest of the lake parking lot. You will pass the trail on your way to the lake parking lot. The first section of the trail starts right past the sing for the park and boring trail it then heads in a counter clockwise direction passing through the oak woodland until a rocky area is encountered. At this point, ...
Hike the Spring Trail
This hike starts out on a half mile of paved trail. From here you will climb a ton of steps to the top, which when the leaves are off the tress can offer a pretty good view. The trail connects with a few other trails on the way but is well marked so you will know what way to go. Parts of this trail are a little rough so hiking boots are a good idea. For the most part the trail is well maintaine...
Grand Falls
There really isn't much adventure in getting to the Grand Falls, because you could drive within 100 feet of it. Depending on when you go (season, day of the week, weather) will determine how easy it will be to park. But there is always some available every time i have gone.
The best times to go see this depend on what you want to do there.
For photography: I try to go on overcast days because...
