Richardson Creek Trail

Many small cascades can be found along this creek. On hot summer days, it's a great place to jump in and cool off. There is a $3 fee per vehicle, plus an addition dollar per person for groups larger than two.

At times, this can be a very strenuous hike due to its steeply sloping loess bluff hills and frequent creek crossings. The trails are all marked with blazes and the occasional trail map. Starting about 300 or so feet up, Red Bluff offers beautiful views of a mini Grand Canyon that continues to grow with every rainfall. From the hike, to the road it has torn to shreds, or to the creek, Red Bluff offers many views to see some great aspects of Mother Nature.
