Palisade Head is about a one hour drive north of Duluth, Minnesota. Once you get there, it is easy parking and there are many different trails to hike from! Another advantage of Palisade head is that there are plenty of cliffs to rock climb off of along with a beautiful lake to kayak on!

Being a full time college student and working part time to pay rent and bills, it sometimes gets tough to get out of the house. We all get stressed but life is about living up to the moment. That is why this one hour drive heading north set full relaxation for me just knowing I would be in one of the most beautiful places in Minnesota. Palisade head has a few different trails and you may hike for miles! The scenic view is breathtaking, especially if you can catch sunset!
