Description

Kayaking along Pictured Rocks in Lake Superior is an adventure to never be forgotten. You're able to go right up against the rocks and see the colors and texture. The blue clarity of the water is mesmerizing.

We started at a port in Munising where they (Northern Waters) gave directions of what the day will entail. Then we drove to a beach about 20 minutes away and the 3 tour guides helped us strap into our kayaks and gave tips on paddling. We kayaked about 3 miles and stopped and ate lunch on a side beach and got to enjoy a break and the beauty of the water (although very cold). Then we continued for about another mile to see the arch (pictured) and that was out turning around point and we headed back, re-living the magnificent rocks once more.
