This is an awesome spot spend a free afternoon, whether you want to walk, swim, kayak, fish, or take pictures. There are lifeguards on duty at the main beach and an ice cream truck in the parking lot across the street. If you hike around the pond on one of the many trails you may even find yourself at the house site of the transcendentalist author Henry David Thoreau. Concord town center is also within walking distance.

Sandy beaches surround a large swimmable pond of crystal clear water. A few trails loop through the woods and around the pond.
