Watch the sunset from the highest point on Nosy Be island in Madagascar
Nosy Be is the largest & busiest tourist resort, an island on the north west coast of mainland Madagascar.
We spend the final few days of our trip here, and on our last night our guide recommended taking a taxi up to the highest point, called Mont Passot, where there is a viewpoint, where you can watch the sunset.
We just told the taxi driver "Mont Passot" and they knew where to take us. There's an area where the cars can park and from there it's a short walk to the viewing platform.
Up at the viewing platform there are a few stalls with locals selling their handmade souvenirs.
The platform itself is a circular platform. It's not quite 360° views, more like 180° but stunning nonetheless. It's definitely worth getting there early, as you'll find lots of other photographers there who get there early and set up there tripods which block a lot of the views.
