The Romero Canyon hike is a delight through and through. The canyon is brightened by wildflowers, and gorgeous views of the Ventura coastline make for an incredible hike well worth the effort.

Hiking the 5.7 Romero Canyon loop trail is a wonderful way to get outside and get the endorphins flowing. The trail has some steep sections but the reward for that, of course, is the excellent scenery. Hike in the spring and summer for the best of the wildflowers--you won't regret it.

This is a good trail for families, just be sure that the kids are prepared for 5.7 miles of hiking--that means snacks and water! Don't forget sunscreen as not all sections of the trail are shaded.
