Description

Added by Tiffany Mazzaccaro

A scenic hike leading you to an old abandoned mine!

This hike is located in the Angeles National Forest. An adventure pass is needed for parking (5 dollars a day or 30 dollars annually).

This hike is about 3 miles in and out. There is NO shade so bring lots of water! There are a few parts of the trail that are washed out and require some climbing, but nothing too difficult.

Judging by a string attached to the beginning of the mine, you can explore inside, but I only walked a few feet before turning around. I'm afraid of the dark!

The views here are amazing and definitely one of favorite hikes in SoCal.
