This park was used in many movies and TV shows, so that's always coolMost known for several episodes of Star Trek - the main rock is even called 'Kirks Rock'

The trailhead is located to the right of the first parking lot. It's about a 3 mile hike, but there's plenty of off trail exploration as well. There's also lots of rock scrambling if you're up to it, so wear appropriate footwear! The trail is easy and mostly flat, just make sure you bring plenty of water and sunscreen because there is no shade.

Getting there: Vasquez Rocks is located on 10700 Escondido Canyon Road. Agua Dulce, CA 91350. That's about an hour north from Los Angeles. You'll drive up a dirt road to a decent sized parking lot. You can drive past this to an even larger lot. Parking is free, but the entrance gates close at 7:00 p.m.
