Secluded Beautiful site LESS THAN 2 Hours from NYC up Route 17 west next to the Historic Nevele Hotel. You can see it from the top of the mountain! It was the most elegant and famous Resort in the Catskills in the 60's, 70's and 80's. YOU TUBE IT ! This campsite is supplied for and ideal for 2 PEOPLE. The Town of Wurtsboro is a few miles away with shops and the Famous Custard's Last Stand. BE Advised to Go past 125 Budd Road (the cabin) and Go to next driveway on left with the Yellow chain and park inside. Follow signs and arrows to campsite. There is a wood fire pit on site and bundles of wood are available to purchase. There is also a Charcoal BBQ grill on site if you prefer to cook that way and a Kitchenette with a coleman propane stove, a cooler to keep food and beverages cold, Fan to cool off and Lantern for light.

Nestled on a ridge with mountain Laurel and fresh air. Tranquil and secluded yet easy to get to and close to the town of Wurtsboro to check out CrystalConnections or Canal Town Emporium. Stock up on supplies at the local G Mart supermarket and Don't forget Ice for the onsite cooler ! Mountain bike around the back dirt road. Close too many local attractions such soaring in a glider plane at the Wurstboro airport, Swimming in the local water hole at Sandburg creek. Hiking at the Delaware and Hudson canal Linear Park or Katrina Falls along the Neversink River. Wine tasting and kayaking at the Basha kill preserve and Winery. An easy drive to Minnewaska state preserve to visit Sam's Point or Ice Cave Mountains. And if you have the itch.. a 15 minute drive to Monticello to the newly constructed Catskill Resort Casino and Kartrite Indoor water park. Make sure you bring your own Sleeping Bags. Sheets and pillows are included on foam mattress. There are bundles of 8 logs to purchase to make a fire or gather your own wood and use the supplied saw to cut it up. A charcoal BBQ grill is onsite if you prefer to cook that way. A kitchenette is inside tent with a coleman propane stove and coleman cooler for beverage and food storage. JUST pick up ICE ! A pot , pan , and coffee perculator and coffee are also included. Salt, pepper, Utensils, plates, paper towels and toilet paper as well. A fan and lantern also are onsight . Please read the campers manual in the Green Binder in the tent. It also has a list of more local attractions and places to visit. Please remember to put recyclables in the proper trash bin and carry all trash out with you and you can put in the trash bins at end of driveway at 125 Budd Road. Thank you!
