Secluded Beautiful site LESS THAN 2 Hours from NYC up Route 17 west next to the Historic Nevele Hotel. You can see it from the top of the mountain! It was the most elegant and famous Resort in the Catskills in the 60's, 70's and 80's. YOU TUBE IT ! This campsite is supplied for and ideal for 2 PEOPLE. The Town of Wurtsboro is a few miles away with shops and the Famous Custard's Last Stand. There is wood available to purchase for Outdoor firepit and Bundled Kiln dried wood for inside tent wood stove. There is also a Charcoal BBQ grill on site and a Kitchenette with a Coleman propane stove and a cooler to keep food and beverages cold (Just bring ICE). There is a Water filling station nearby for potable water. Just Bring your own Sheets, Blankets/Sleeping bags and pillow case covers.

Nestled on a ridge with mountain Laurel and fresh air. Tranquil and secluded yet easy to get to and close to the town of Wurtsboro to check out CrystalConnections or Canal Town Emporium. Stock up on supplies at the local G Mart supermarket and Don't forget Ice for the onsite cooler ! Mountain bike around the back dirt road. Close too many local attractions such as soaring in a glider plane at the Wurstboro airport, Swimming and fishing at the local water hole at Sandburg creek. Hiking at the Delaware and Hudson canal Linear Park or Katrina Falls along the Neversink River. Wine tasting, kayaking, Birdwatching and Fishing for Pickerel and Large Mouth bass at the Basha kill preserve and Winery. An easy drive to Minnewaska state preserve to visit Sam's Point, Ice Cave Mountains and MInnewaska Lake. And if you have the itch.. a 15 minute drive to Monticello to the newly constructed Catskill Resort Casino and Kartrite Indoor water park. Due to Covid-19 make sure you bring your own sheets, Blankets/Sleeping bags and pillow case covers. A pot, pan, and coffee perculator and coffee are also included onsite as well as Salt, pepper, Utensils, plates, paper towels and toilet paper. Please read the campers manual in the Green Binder in the tent. It also has a list of more local attractions and places to visit. Please remember to put recyclables in the small plastic garbage bin with the Blue Liner and regular trash in Metal trash can and carry all trash out with you and you can put in the Thompson trash bins at end of driveway at 125 Budd Road. Clean all Pots and leave tent windows one quarter the way down when you leave. Do not completely close the tent windows. Please leave the campsite as you found it. Thank you!
