This High Plains campground on the Santa Fe Trail is minutes from Bent's Old Fort National Historic Site, where costumed interpreters bring the history of the adobe-walled trading post to life. In La Junta, the Koshare Indian Museum houses an impressive collection of Native American art/ artifacts. A half hour south, Picketwire Canyon features the largest known trackway of dinosaur footprints in North America. This KOA has high-speed Wi-Fi, and it's within walking distance of restaurants/shopping. Cool off in the pool, have fun on inflatable waterslides and play mini golf or horseshoes. Relax in the rec room, where you can read, watch TV and play the piano or pool. Groups enjoy the large meeting room and kitchen. Premium Tent Sites are new for 2018!
