Sorrento is very conveniently located. A short drive up the peninsula to Coastal Route 1 takes you to several great restaurants and a quaint general store. 14 miles to Ellsworth, for plenty of shops and dining options. This is the gateway to Acadia National Park (Bar Harbor is about 30 miles) and 14 miles in the opposite direction is the Schoodic Peninsula entry to Acadia. This is known as the quiet side of Acadia, which offers breathtaking views as well as a ferry to Bar Harbor, to avoid traffic.

LIVING AREA
