Friendship Park

Granger Lake Trail is an out-and-back trail that starts off in Taylor Park in Granger Texas. At the end of the trail are primitive campsites, accessible by hike or by boat. This trail is used by hikers and bikers and dog-friendly on leash. Backcountry campground reservations for Fox Bottom Camp Area can be made by calling (512) 859-2668.

The trail features a gorgeous river, and is enjoyable for all skill levels. Dogs are allowed to use this trail, but must be kept on leash.  Parking at Blue Hole Park is relatively easy. Once parked, head west down the river for about a quarter mile and you'll find some picnic tables and a pavilion area. 

The Chalk Ridge Falls Trail can be found within Chalk Ridge Falls Park just outside of Belton, Texas. The trail features one main waterfall as well as a neat suspension bridge.
