Designed by noted architect, Jeff Shelton, this masterpiece hideaway provides the perfect home base for all your Santa Barbara adventures. Take a 45-minute drive to wine country, or stay local and check out The Funk Zone, the city’s hip arts and dining district.

After a fun-filled day, return home to watch the sunset from your fourth-story patio with breathtaking mountain panoramas. Or make a romantic meal in the colorful, fully-stocked kitchen.

For larger parties of up to eight, the entire house may also be available to rent.


Relax in the chic, modern living area with seating for five (turns into a sleeper sofa for 2) and floor to ceiling windows that feature striking Santa Barbara vistas. Spend luminous afternoons entertaining guests, or kick back and enjoy a movie night on the 55” flat-screen television.

Just off the kitchen and down a tiled staircase, the spacious master bedroom boasts a king-size bed, private patio and en-suite bathroom with a stand-alone tub, walk-in shower and double vanity. There is also a full bathroom on the rooftop with an outdoor shower.


There’s no shortage of beautiful outdoor areas at El Zapato. Head to the penthouse’s stunning top floor which offers seating for 10 and spectacular views of the Riviera and the historic Santa Barbara Mission. The top-floor patio also provides a small bathroom.

Another spot for unwinding in the sun is a patio, just off the kitchen, with a grill and seating for two. If you’re looking for a more intimate open-air spot, the master bedroom includes a private balcony.


Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, an in-unit washer/dryer, and parking for two vehicles.

All leases require a minimum 31-day term.

If at any time the maximum number of occupants is exceeded or if the Owner receives information about excessive noise, Owner has the right to evict Guest and all occupants immediately and to bill the guest a minimum service fee of $250. If any sign of smoking is discovered Guest authorizes the Owner to charge the guest a minimum $500 cleaning fee.
