Walk down our beautifully wooded path to reach a lawn-like setting on the banks of the secluded and very private Wappingers Creek. Spend your days just relaxing or use this campsite as your homebase for exploring the many sites in the Hudson Valley or Connecticut's Litchfield Hills. Then come back and make a meal over the campfire or just cook up some S'mores !! Many hiking trails nearby on former railroad property turned into rail trails. Wappingers Creek is stocked every Spring for you fishermen . Recommend you bring bug spray and also shower shoes for creek wading. Pickup & dropoff from Wassaic(MetroNorthRR) or Rhinecliff(Amtrak)is available for a slight charge for our guests. You will park your vehicle in our specially designated area a short walk from the campsite.
