Santa Cruz, California

Working farm next to miles of state park.

This campsite is steps away from stunningly beautiful hiking, bicycling and horse trails in the redwoods that open up to the ocean and Santa Cruz mountain views to the west; to the east is a working farm with an orchard, chickens, baby goats, one horse, one pony, and one giant mule that may be grazing near your site. The house is not far from the site, but the tent is still very private. DIRECTIONS: GPS does not work. Turn left at the big blue colorfully painted mailboxes and hazard triangle three driveways after the Waldorf school, go straight past the stop sign for a quarter mile (bumpy dirt road, just go slow my mini does fine), turn left at the little blue truck before the house, follow the wood chip road (100 yards) to the garbage can where you can park (20 yards from the tent). If the electric gate is closed in the middle of the road chip road, then the horses are out, and we will help you thru if you tell us what time you will be there! Otherwise come find us. There is no cell service at the site.
