Camp at Bloomfield Campgrounds in the Calaveras County
Arnold, California
Description
Added by Lisa Lau
Long drive from San Francisco (up to 5 hours) but the views, seclusion, and hiking is well worth it. Dog friendly.
To get there you drive about 20 minutes up Highway 4 from Mosquito Lake and turn right on to the small Highland Lakes road.
Outhouse and pipped water available.
There is usually a volunteer onsite to help with any questions. She is wonderful!
