This little canyon is a great adventure for those who like explore in the Owyhee mountains of Idaho. The path is not heavily traveled which means that you will be able to enjoy the peacefulness that you hope for while out on an adventure.

The hike begins about 0.5 miles before you enter the canyon. From where you park your car you will just follow the creek upstream and, before you know it, you'll find yourself in the canyon.

The canyon goes for about 1.5 miles before it opens up. there are several spots where you will need to cross the creek, which can be fairly difficult in the spring. The best time of year to go would be between June and November as water levels will be lowest and sometime even completely dry.

This is an area that is considered open range, so it is possible that you will run into some livestock, but this is only on rare occasion.

As you hike, keep your eyes open for small wildlife such as lizards, and rabbits.
