10 Photos That Will Make You Add Lime Creek to Your Colorado Adventure List

Hiking, climbing, camping and more!

By: Holly Mandarich + Save to a List

If you've lived in the Colorado's Vail Valley long enough, you've probably heard about Lime Creek. But to those of us who are not accustomed to the Valley it's most likely an unheard-of adventure oasis.

Just past Sylvan Lake State Park in Eagle, Colorado, you'll take a dirt road back about 24 miles to an area called Lime Creek. The area has a limestone cliff band that protrudes from the earth and offers many various sport climbing lines. Aside from the area being known for climbing, it has countless accessible mountain biking trails, hikes to alpine likes such as Eagle Lake and free dispersed camping along all of the various dirt roads back in the area! There isn't just one thing to do, but a plethora of such activities. I'll let the photos do the talking...
