Distance: 4 miles roundtripElevation gain: 600 ft.Dense Bamboo ForestBeautiful waterfalls

Park at Haleakala State Park and head up river across the road on the Pipiwai Trail. This is a great hike and so beautiful with many views of waterfalls and a journey through a bamboo forest. The end of the trail is Waimoku Falls, a four hundred foot water fall. This is an out and back trail so simply follow your path back to the parking lot at the Haleakala State Park.
