Enjoy a relaxing hike through the mahogany forest and local Kilauea farms. Take a swing into the pond to cool off or find a quiet spot for a picnic.

Take a right off the main highway and drive past the Kilauea Mini Golf Course (on your right). Park in the dirt parking lot next to the trailhead. The trail is pretty open and perfect for dogs or large groups! You can also rent bikes from the golf course if you'd prefer. You'll walk through a stunning mahogany grove (one of the largest in the world) and enjoy a stroll by a few local Kilauea farms. When you arrive at the Kilauea Stone Dam (built it the 1800's) you can explore the small ponds and native Hawaiian plants. This is a perfect hike for a low key day exploring Kauai!
