Exploring Byodo-In Temple
Kaneohe, Hawaii
Description
Added by Aaron Patterson
There is this place called, "The Valley of the Temples" here on Oahu. More specifically, one temple that is open for the public to walk through is called, Byodo Temple. It's about $3 per adult and even less for children and seniors. It's a small walk through but there's much to see and plenty of photo opportunities
This area is a short walkthrough of a Buddhist Temple in Hawaii. The temple has tons of wildlife just roaming the area as tourists explore the temple inside and out. Inside the temple there is a giant buddhist statue that you are welcome to pay tribute to and light incense for. There are gardens that branch out from the temple and plenty of sit down areas to relax or meditate. On your way out there is a giant gong you can strike which is said to give you blessings and happiness.
