Escape the concrete jungle of Jacksonville and explore natural Florida. Hike through a densely wooded forest and into a salt marsh.The trail dead-ends at Round Marsh and a bird observation platform.

The Theodore Roosevelt Area is a 600-acre natural treasure of hardwood forest, wetlands, and scrub vegetation. A hike along the Willie Browne trail (1 mile) brings you to round marsh and the bird observation platform. A rich diversity of plant and animal life can be readily observed.
