Go underground in this series of small caves in the Withlacoochee State Forest.

Start at the trailhead on Hwy 491, 11 miles south of hwy 44 in Lecanto Fl. This is the western end of Trail 22 in the Withlacoochee State Forest. Hike a half mile to the first, most obvious "Vandal Cave". As you look in from where the roof collapsed, there is an entrance to your right. There are several more small caves within a stones though. Just before you arrive at Vandal cave there is a trail that leads to the left, this will take you to Peace Cave. Along the way and further down the trail there are many great spots to picnic or nap under the trees of the forest.
