Parika Lake

Never Summer Wilderness Parika Lake , Colorado

Description

Added by Sarah Wieck

Parika Lake is a high alpine lake that's secluded and teaming with fish. Its one of my favorite hike in grand county.

Starting in Rocky Mountain National Park, the trail is level for the first mile and the starts to ascend after you reach the Never Summer Wilderness. It climbs gradually for 5 1/2 miles crossing the reiver a few times and winding through alpine meadows carpeted with flowers . The view from the top right before you reach the lake is amazing!
