Radium Hot Springs
Kremmling, Colorado
Description
Added by Bryan Young
Radium Hot Springs is a short hike that will take you to a beautiful and relaxing hot spring that sits adjacent to the Colorado River. It’s a perfect place to chill with friends, have a scenic picnic, or relax after a nice hiking trek.
The Parking Area & Trailhead have been updated by the BLM from the previous starting point at Mugrage Campground, which is no longer open.
The BLM has also built a relatively short and easy trail from the new parking area to the hot springs. The springs are not too hot, about 80-90 degree F as they mix slightly with the cool Colorado River that flows adjacent to the spring.
There is free camping atop the ridge on the BLM land. As always, remember to follow Leave No Trace principals and use pre-made fire rings.
