This hike has it all, you follow a river the whole way up, you see cascades/waterfalls, there are multiple outlooks, and at the very top is a beautiful lake!

The hike begins at the parking lot of Wild Basin Trailhead. From there you are hiking in the tall trees along the Ouzel River with 2 waterfalls that you cross over. It's a relatively moderate hike, not too high of an incline; however, it is ~5 miles to the lake. Once you get to the lake it is very calming. You can fish, camp, etc and it was not crowded, there was one other person on the opposite side of the lake.
