For those who love the outdoors from inside their car, the Pikes Peak Highway is for you. This is an easy hour drive up to the top of Pike's Peak. Pike's is one of the 14,000 + foot mountains in Colorado. Enjoy beautiful views of both the national forest and sprawling Colorado Springs.

Pike's Peak Highway is home to the famous Pikes Peak Hill Climb. When the racers are home however, the highway is open to cars and cyclists. It is an easy beautiful drive to the top of Pikes. Along the way you'll pass numerous lakes and campsites, as well as park spots to get out and snap that new profile picture!

A popular winter time activity is to drive up to Devil's Playgound, a park spot roughly 3 miles from the peak, and backcountry ski.During the summer you'll see many cyclists so share the road!
