This is an awesome Hike, takes most of the day but if you want to see everything plan on backpacking it, there's so much to see!

My friends and I went up the east side (not as steep as the west) and came down the west side. There are more bridges and streams on the west side. The east side is just 6 kilometers of stairs, which can be very demanding on the body so if you have knee problems or just don't like stairs I would highly encourage using the cable car as one of my friends did which won't cost you more than 100 yuan. Great experience and wonderful views!
