Official Rules

Challenge Period:

The Challenge begins at 12:00am Pacific Standard Time (PST) on May 1st, 2026 and ends at 11:59pm Pacific Standard Time (PST) on June 14th, 2026.

Qualifying Activities:

The following outdoor activities qualify for this Challenge - walking, hiking, running, mountain biking, road biking, stand-up paddle, bike touring, canoeing, and kayaking.

All activities must be tracked on the Outbound app via GPS and are subject to verification by the Outbound team. Each participant's total active outdoor time is measured by the cumulative time of all of their tracked activities during the Challenge period.

You must be active and moving during the recording of your activities. Activities flagged as inactive, idle, or otherwise non-qualifying (e.g., a tracker left running while not engaged in activity) will be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Outbound team.

Eligibility:

Open to legal permanent United States residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Challenge is void outside of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia.

Winning:

All users who reach the goal of 350 minutes of total active outdoor time during the Challenge period will automatically be entered for a chance to win the Challenge Grand Prize. Separately, the ten (10) participants with the highest verified cumulative active outdoor time during the Challenge period will be awarded an Exclusive Sun Bum Care Package (see PRIZES below).

Prizes:

Prizes will be awarded as follows:

Grand Prize (Raffle): All qualified participants (those who reach the goal of 350 minutes of verified active outdoor time during the Challenge Period) will be entered into a raffle. One (1) randomly chosen winner will be awarded the Grand Prize.

Top 10 Care Packages: The ten (10) participants with the highest verified cumulative active outdoor time during the Challenge Period — as confirmed by the Outbound team's verification process — will each receive one (1) Exclusive Sun Bum Care Package.

Prize/Approximate Retail Value ("ARV")/Odds:

Grand Prize: One (1) grand prize (the "Grand Prize") will be awarded, consisting of a $5,000 USD cash prize provided by Sun Bum. ARV: $5,000 USD. The Grand Prize is provided, fulfilled, and delivered solely by Sun Bum. Outbound's role is limited to selecting and notifying the winner and connecting the winner directly with Sun Bum. Sun Bum — not Outbound — is solely responsible for delivering the $5,000 cash prize to the winner. Outbound makes no representations or warranties regarding the timing, method, or fulfillment of the Grand Prize, and bears no liability for any failure, delay, or dispute related to its delivery.

Top 10 Exclusive Sun Bum Care Packages: Ten (10) Exclusive Sun Bum Care Packages will be awarded. Each Care Package includes the following items from Sun Bum:

• 1 Beach Tote
• 1 Beach Flyer frisbee
• 1 Nalgene® Water Bottle
• 1 Original Scent Air Freshener
• 1 Original SPF 50 Sunscreen Lotion (8 oz)
• 1 Mineral SPF 30 Liquid Face
• 1 Original SPF 30 Sunscreen Lip Balm – Coconut

ARV per Care Package: approximately $130 USD. Total ARV for all ten (10) Care Packages: approximately $1,300 USD.

The odds of winning the Grand Prize are dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received during the Challenge Period. The Top 10 Care Packages are awarded based on verified cumulative active outdoor time, not by random drawing. No purchase is necessary to affect the odds of winning.

Notification:

Outbound will contact all Winners (the Grand Prize winner and the ten (10) Top Care Package winners) via the contact information provided at the time of entry by no later than 5 days after the end of the Challenge Period. All Winners must respond within 72 hours of notification to claim their prize. Winners must be at least 18 years of age. Noncompliance, failure to respond within 72 hours, or any other disqualifying conduct may result in disqualification, and an alternate winner will be selected to fill that spot — this applies equally to the Grand Prize winner and any of the Top 10 Care Package winners.

For the Grand Prize, once a winner has been confirmed and has responded within the 72-hour window, Outbound will connect the winner directly with Sun Bum, who will be solely responsible for delivering the $5,000 cash prize to the winner.
