GPX Track is one-way...total round trip distance is ~7 miles.
From the parking area at Sabrina Lake, work your way around the NE corner of the lake to meet up with the Sabrina Basin Trail. You will follow the trail along the south shore of Lake Sabrina, gradually gaining elevation as you work your way toward the SE corner of the lake. If you're lucky enough to be hiking in the fall you'll pass through a colorful stand of trees and shrubs at the start of the hike and the colors will continue up around the lake and up toward the Sierra crest.
As you pass the SE corner of the lake the trail will begin to climb a bit more aggressively up the canyon with more switchbacks, still a very manageable climb. Luckily, the sections of forested trail often open into exposed areas with excellent views of Sabrina and the surrounding Sierra peaks. There's one final section of stone switchbacks before the trail begins to flatten out as you approach the lake. Continue on past the first section of water at the lake's outlet (crossing the water where comfortable) and follow the trail toward a more middle-point of the lake where you're able to relax, swim, picnic, etc.
If you happen to be backpacking, you could set up camp nearby and day hike out to Hungry Packer Lake, Midnight Lake, Moonlight Lake, Baboon Lakes, Donkey Lake, and others.
