Description

Added by Brittney Ocegueda

The end of the trail has a waterfall and caves that hikers can explore. Peacocks that roam the area, along with deer and rattlesnakes.

Once the road ends, you have to park on the side and walk about a quarter of a mile on the paved road past the gate to the trailhead.

After 2 miles on the trail (just past an abandoned miniature golf course) there is a split in the trail. Turn right to drop into the creek bed and follow the creek all the way up. The rocks gradually get bigger, and after about a 1.5 miles it is mostly boulders. Once you reach the waterfall there is a side trail on the right that leads to the top of the canyon (be careful though it is washed out and very easy to slide.)

There were not many people on the trail. A lot of mountain bikers, but once the trail splits it is quiet.
