Women's Grove, more formally known as the California Federation of Women's Clubs Grove, is located in Humboldt Redwoods State Park. The swimming hole is along the South Fork of the Eel River and is surrounded by old-growth redwood groves. The pebbly beach leads to the deepest part of the swimming hole, which will be marked by a fallen tree.

Getting to the beach:
From the parking area at Women's Grove, it's a short and easy-to-follow walk to the beach.

Best time to visit:
Late Spring to August Beware of toxic algal blooms near the end of summer. If there is a toxic bloom, stay out of the water and don't let your pup run in either.
