We've been waiting to visit more state parks in Texas. This one is only two hours from us and we've heard such good things about it. It's an adventure everyone needs to experience!

Best trip ever! We definitely recommend going in the late winter or early spring. We were able to bring our pup Cora because the weather was so nice. We had an amazing time going on the trails or taking our own route at times and the views were breathtaking. Definitely worth the drive!

Enchanted Rock Summit Trail

Enchanted Rock Summit Trail is an out-and-back hike that offers expansive views in Hill Country from the 1823ft summit of Enchanted Rock located near Llano, TX. The Longhorn Cavern State Park is a hidden gem in the Hill Country. The caverns are breathtaking and some of the walls are completely covered in Quartz.
