Get Outside: Best View Of Yosemite

By: Tiffany Nguyen + Save to a List

Get Outside is a weekly dose of inspiration to get you off the couch and enjoying what nature has to offer.

Some adventures require miles of hiking or days of backpacking to reach the payoff. Getting to this epic view required nothing more than a hammock, my favorite snacks, and some good company. After a long day of hiking through the snow on Four Mile Trail to Glacier Point, all we wanted to do was post up at an empty spot in the park to chill and catch the sunset. What’s awesome about Yosemite is that you can be almost anywhere in the park and still have an incredible view of Half Dome. While roaming around the valley, we randomly found the perfect spot off the road. In a matter of minutes, we set up the hammock and made some hot chocolate to warm up from the day’s hike. All that was left to do was sit back, relax, and put this one in the books as another successful day of exploring.
