Take a Step Back in Time at Wupatki National Monument

Wupatki is a preserved National Monument near Flagstaff, AZ. It offers great views of Mount Humphreys and the open desert. There is an ancient dwelling on the road leading to Wupatki which is free and just a short walk up to the top (Amazing views!). Then there's Wupatki where you will need to enter the visitor center to pay a small fee to explore Wupatki's wonders. The fee gives you access to Wupatki and Sunset Crater (A nearby volcano crater), this fee allows the National Park to keep preserving these wonders.  

Wupatki offers a rich history and a natural blow hole. The hole reacts to barometric pressure above ground. When the air is warm and light above, the cold air from below blows out. When the air gets heavy and moist, it sucks in the air.
