This is a beautiful escape from the Phoenix-Metro area. It's about 2.5 hours drive from Phoenix to where you park and begin your hike.

From the parking spots it's a choose your own adventure series of out-and-back hikes, from 1 mile to nearly 7 miles.

The elevation change is minimal and you'll begin to hear West Clear Creek waters about 1/4 mile into your hike.

The water is typically clear and offers a nice swim for you and your pets (on a leash). If you hike passed the 1 mile mark you can camp with a 14-day limit.
