Just breathtaking!!! The mountain reflection on the water is unreal!! Definitely a very good photo op spot, don't miss it while touring the valley floor.

Straight up to the top but the views are spectacular. I ended up doing this hike in February and it was snowy and icy. I suggest having microspikes as I was slipping a lot. Would highly recommend!

I have been here multiple times and is always breathtaking! It gets crowded so be patient. Definitely worth the drive out there.

I was camping in Tuolumne Meadows for a week and Mt. Dana was a perfect training hike for my Grand Canyon trek. The climb up is no joke, it is straight up and going from 9,900 -> 13,000 ft in a matter of miles. I also had 32 lbs on my back! It was truly spectacular up at the top. Definitely recommend!!!!

I have been to Mirror Lake 2 times in the Winter season and it was just ok. It is scenic but not as majestic as other places in Yosemite.

Half Dome is an iconic hike in Yosemite and I have been lucky to have gotten permits for the hike multiple times! It is a grueling hike, lots of varied terrain (sand, granite, loose rock and gravel) and parts are unrelenting with the summer heat. Make sure to pack electrolytes and water. If you need to fill up water, there is a stream but make sure you have a filter. The cables were pretty scary. And I went up went it was windy. Take your time. I cried, but I made it up. IT IS WORTH IT!

Short loop to the Lower Falls is a great group outing. Depending on the time of year, it could be gushing or pretty sparse. Lots of big rocks you can climb but be careful as it gets slippery!

Had to get up at the crack of dawn to take the shuttle to the TH. Lines formed as it is basically the creme de la creme of hikes in Zion. The hike is well maintained and straightforward. I did not have any issues with getting up or down the trail. Yes, use caution, but it is not unmanageable. It looks scarier than it actually is.

There is a lot of hype around the Narrows and I thought it was just ok. Very crowded in the first couple miles. Definitely grab a stick if you have one, the rocks are slippery. I much preferred Kanarra Falls and gave a similar vibe as Narrows.

Just do it! It gets very hot, no shade, so bring lots of water but the slot canyon is breathtaking! Got a little lost but thankful found other hikers to get us back on track.

Good value and right next to Devil's Tower. Beautiful morning views and they play Close Encounters of the Third Kind in their outdoor area at night!

Nice loop around the Devil's Tower. Easy and straightforward. It's really cool to see it up close and personal.

Good loop to see Mt. Rushmore from diff angles. Make sure to stop off for some refreshments, it gets hot there!

Definitely a stop you cannot miss while in YS. It is majestic up there! It definitely gets crowded so be patient to get that perfect photo.

A very short and accessible loop to see some of the mud pots. If parking isn't an issue, a good stop off but there are a lot of other places to see in the park!

This hike opens up right around Memorial Day as there is a lot of bear activity in the area. The trail offers a mix of everything- viewpoints of the Grand Prismatic Spring, waterfalls (small but cool) and of course, the Imperial Geyser. The route is straightforward. It is muddy in places so have good waterproof footwear. As always, be BEAR AWARE!

I have been here numerous times and have come back because of the awesome trails and proximity to Santa Cruz (to get ice cream and beer! :D) You won't be disappointed camping here!

I backpacked here for an overnight trip and it was so fun! You leave from the Ferry Building on a short ferry ride to the Island. We walked to our campsite- about a mile away. There were flushing toilets but beware of large spiders!! We hiked and ate our dinner up top and it was beautiful sunset views. Highly recommend!

I joined a Run Club and they would start near Fort Mason and we would do our long runs to Hopper's Hands. Flat and beautiful run to right under the bridge. There is a mix of road, wood, and dirt/sand!

I live in SF and this place is one of my favorites! Beautiful and you can either make your way to the Sunset area or to Baker Beach depending which direction you choose!

Good exercise loop. Its relatively flat and there is a water fountain and porto potties in the middle section.

Iconic steps in the Sunset. Don't run up the steps, the tile is slippery- I have a scar on my knee from taking a hard hit while racing up :)

A small easy loop. Beautiful wildflowers bloom here! Would recommend for an easy hike in the Lamar area!

The Boiling River is a GEM in the Mammoth area!! The hot spring mixes with the cold river to get a nice soaking temp. It gets crowded so you may likely have to wait to get to a prime spot. Bring a towel and sandals!
